Reality TV that is real.
Sure reality TV is poisoning our minds and giving everyone a chance at mini stardom but how many shows are really real and make a difference. Well I don't know but I'll rank the top 3 I have heard of. #3 American Idol, now it really fills the pockets of the music industry but it has inspired young people to sing and that's really important. In the short term it has also made stars out of more then the winners and given them all a door into the singing business they would not normally have. Kelly is awesome, Clay did well and Kimberly Lock is doing ok. Most of them are better off then they were before, and no body had to eat rats or jump off a mountain. #2 Biggest Loser, is about the best reality show for overweight Americans. I actually do sit ups while I watch just because it motivates me to take better care of myself. We have already seen that everyone on the show wins with new self confidence and a slimmer body. Its a true feel good TV show. #1 Extreme Home Makeover, this show is above and beyond the best reality show. It is an outpouring of goodness one family more sad then the one before. The one with the deaf family nearly had me in tears. If the world was as nice as this show is then it would be a better place for us all. It actually spawed from Trading Spaces and Extreme Makeover and now is bigger then both combine. It won an award at the People's Choice and I think it is the greatest reality show of all time!
