End the World you didn't see coming
I was reading this article on yahoo about stars exploding in distant galaxies that go off like megaton bombs and give off gamma rays. And it got me thinking about mortality. People often think of the things that will kill them like a random accident, diet or health issues. But did you ever think maybe it’s something I can't change and no one sees coming like radiation or gamma rays from the sky. What if all those satellites and cell phones are slowly frying our brains. Maybe you are taking a walk down the street and airplane parts fall from the sky or random gun fire hits you as you walk out of a store. It’s truly insane to even think about. I always think that if the world ends from fire in the sky, Christ returns, bible story events, that I'd either be asleep or in a movie theater, two places I'd never see what happen, just know that something bad happened and now we are all doomed. It seems now with the way cancer never seems to go away that we are inventing things that will kill us. Machines or chemical that nature didn't intend on that are poisoning us all, in slow cancerous deaths. Maybe if we get back to nature and go green it could save us all, or maybe some star we never heard of will exploded and we'll all die of gamma rays, and you never saw it coming.

So they said when Obama was elected to the presidency that racism was finally dead and that the world was finally going to unite as a people without color. Wow, not only did that not last it actually gave a focus for all those racist to direct their negative energy. I'm so sick of this. I mean there are terrible people in every color of the rainbow. Why do people focus so much on hating the color of a man's skin? It so ignorant its actually making me sick. Since Obama is so sparkly clean and intelligent all the press can do is attack his skin color rather than his politics. And don't blame him for anything he does this first year. GW Bush handed over the country like a bag of garbage and then told Obama to help himself. Obama is doing the best he can with what he was given so don't make race an issue when it’s not.

Since the election I think I've heard an increase in racist jokes and horrible characterizations and I even saw a bumper sticker saying, "I'll keep my money, guns and freedom and you can keep the change." It was an obvious play on Obama’s promise for change but it was a banner for the racist people that think somehow living under GW Bush was freedom and that Obama is going to make us less free. Guns and money don't make you free. Changing you moral values make you free. Freedom is being able to not live in fear. Americans need to wake up. People of color aren't your enemy, you outnumber them, thats why they are minorities. Americans need to be afraid of the hate in this country, the war in other countries and the fact that if we don't work together to improve the education and the resources we as a nation of all colors is going to fall behind in the global economy.
